This course covers OSHA ergonomic guidelines for safe patient handling and methods to protect workers in all health care settings. This course focuses on analyzing and identifying ergonomic hazards and practical solutions to address these issues.
Upon course completion, students will have the ability to apply “OSHA’s Ergonomics Guidelines for Nursing Homes” in their healthcare facility. The course will cover benefits of implementing an ergonomics process, identifying, analyzing and developing solutions for ergonomic problems related to healthcare facilities.
Individuals responsible for overseeing safety in industries such as: Construction, Manufacturing, Agriculture, Maritime and General Industry.
